As part of the Vriksh Ganga Abhiyaan movement, a Mass Plantation Drive was conducted in North Delhi to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living. The program began with a brief motivational address highlighting the importance of tree plantation in combating climate change and improving air quality.
Volunteers planted a variety of trees including Neem, Peepal, Mango, and Guava across public park areas and roadside spaces. Special emphasis was placed on planting native and fruit-bearing species to ensure long-term ecological benefits.
Youth participation was highly encouraging, reflecting growing environmental consciousness among the younger generation. The event concluded with a collective pledge to nurture and protect the planted saplings for their healthy growth.
This plantation drive marks another step forward in the mission of Vriksh Ganga Abhiyaan to create a greener and healthier Bharat.
